Reflecting on a special Talk Event at Insole Court

Last week, I enjoyed speaking at a wonderful Talk Event held at Insole Court, Cardiff, alongside the lovely Esther and Marie. It was a gathering full of warmth, insightful conversation, and yes—delicious cake, beautifully baked by Marie herself! We shared teas, coffees, and thoughtful moments, all captured by the talented Marie from Palbom Photography.

During the talk, I shared a little of my journey—how I began graphic recording and the path that’s led me to where I am today. I also brought along my trusty Neuland board and some fresh paper to dive into something close to my heart: visual strategy. What exactly is it? For me, it’s the power of simplifying complex ideas, visually. It’s about helping companies and individuals capture their thoughts, processes, and goals in a way that’s not only strategic but also clear, creative, and most importantly—actionable.

Through my graphic recording, I love to collaborate with teams to find clarity in their vision and pave a path forward, one sketch at a time.

Thanks again to everyone who came along—it was truly a wonderful afternoon of connection, creativity, and cake! 😊
